One of my final projects at EE before returning to Melbourne was leading the brand’s sponsorship activation at Glastonbury Festival. We designed an immersive EE tent that became a vibrant hub for thousands of festival-goers, playing a crucial role in connecting attendees throughout the event.
The concept sparked while browsing through Glastonbury photos: What if we created our own unique section of the festival? A space where customers wouldn’t just see a recharge tent, but feel like they’d stepped into another part of Glastonbury itself.
That vision came to life as the EE Glastonbury Forest: a lush, immersive environment filled with artificial trees and greenery. Key elements like product displays were cleverly integrated, designed to resemble intricate spider webs weaving through the space. Knowing many visitors would be waiting to recharge their devices, we also streamed live BBC Glastonbury coverage and Twitter feeds to keep everyone entertained and connected.
