Back for its third year and bigger than ever, the AFL Macca’s Footy Festival transformed Elder Park into a four-day celebration of footy culture,drawing over 118,000 fans in the heart of Adelaide.
As Creative Lead for both the 2024 and 2025 festivals, I was responsible for shaping the overall look, feel and experience of the precinct, ensuring every element was visually cohesive and creatively aligned. From interactive zones and rooftop bars to live entertainment, twilight match screenings, and player appearances, the festival offered something for every kind of fan. And of course, the now-iconic 150m zipline over the River Torrens once again flew fans straight to the footy action at Adelaide Oval.
