Experiential Activation
Bunch was approached by Foodbank through Energy Australia’s sponsorship of Essendon Football Club to organise an exciting activation engaging AFL fans at the MCG.
Designed to raise awareness of Foodbank’s ‘Goals to End hunger’ campaign, agoal kicking activation was created where a number of meals were donated dependant on where you kicked or hand-balled the footy. A large tally counter supported the experience to allow visitors to see exactly how many points were converted to meal donations.
Extending the activation further to around the grounds, we created ‘tap to donate’ roaming signs and messaging at key engagement points which included pre-game banner signage, targeted text to donate messages during the match as well at half-time entertainment.
The activation culminated with attendance by Essendon legends Kevin Sheedy and Dustin Fletcher who came down to the experience further raising awareness and buzz.
