GoFish iPad Application
Information & Interface Design

During my final year of study, WWF approached Swinburne University to design and develop an iPad application focusing on one of the many work's and causes that they target. Through this brief, which focused on infographics, we were asked to produce an application that will teach and guide the people effected in these areas on how to join together as one to combat and overcome these threats.

My chosen topic was the overfishing in the Coral Triangle, which is roughly a triangular area of the tropical marine waters of IndonesiaMalaysiaPapua New GuineaPhilippinesSolomon Islands and Timor-Leste that contain at least 500 species of reef-building corals in each ecoregion. Here on a daily basis hundreds of endangered species are targeted, which are further declining the already low population of animals.  This application was developed to raise awareness on the issue and to put an end to the overfishing in the area through permits for fisherman.

Unfortunately this iPad application was never actually developed, but below you are able to see what it may have looked like. Accompanying print collateral was produced to be handed out at fish monger's and markets along the coastline.
